Want to know one of the things we like best about running a guest house? It's got to be meeting a huge variety of nice people not just from the length and breadth of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales but from all over the place. We've had guests from Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Denmark - to name but a few.
Not only is it extremely interesting, but what really does our poor old hearts good on a grey rainy day when nothing seems to be going right is the compliments we get when they leave, or the lovely comments they write in our Visitors' Book, or the great reviews they give us on TripAdvisor.
Call us old fashioned, but it still gives us a little warm glow to know that our guests like what we're doing! Thank you kind people - we really appreciate it.
